Marija is a professional illustrator who needed a simple yet representative portfolio for her wide array of work. For that purpose, I’ve designed and developed a filterable WordPress-based showcase and blog. The site is responsive, and the selected work section randomly changes the images’ order.
goExplorers is a project still in development for a city guide. The guide is designed to be fully responsive with an intuitive user interface and easy navigation, providing the most basic info to those that need it, and more extended info to those who want to know more about the attractions and offers of the city.
The third version intends to expand Zanimljiva Srbija into a portal/magazine, reserving the home page for featured posts only. Full width background images are going to serve as the focal point for the featured post, while the lower part is reserved for a few more of Editor’s pick posts. This way, it will become natural for new posts to be published without a schedule (which was the case in the blog version).
This project is a refresh of the previous version of our Belgrade guide, aiming for a cleaner, fresher and more responsive look and feel. Several concepts are taken into consideration for the home page, but here are the top two, along with an inner page mockup and the mobile version.
A template for WordPress in the making with clean layout, fancy typography and colors resembling the tropical waters. The Aqua theme design was actually intended for this website, but was left aside to be converted in a useful and versatile WP template.
Eph Fero is a Serbian company that imports and distributes heavy machinery for sheet metal processing. They requested for a simple and elegant solution for the website and identity redesign, with the color scheme resembling those of their foreign partners. The logotype consists of letters that represent bending of sheet metal.
Mina is a Sweden based publishing and distribution startup selling books for children in Swedish and Serbian. This concept features minimalistic web design with a friendly and welcoming color scheme focusing on the colorful books.
WordPress is the most popular open-source Content Management System and blogging platform, and my personal favorite. Using WordPress as the framework of your website, you can build virtually anything, from a tiny personal website to a huge web portal or social network.
Most of the websites I build are based on WordPress, for the sake of easier, faster and more economic maintenance.
Being the most popular CMS solution on the planet, WordPress has a huge and active community of plugin and theme developers, offering around 20.000 plugins and countless themes to customize a website according to one’s needs. It’s unique template system makes it safer and easier to modify the website without damaging it’s core functionality.
Search engine optimization
WordPress is one of the most SEO friendly website frameworks, featuring out-of-the-box on-site optimization as well as a large number of high quality plugins to take it to the next level.
Community with BuddyPress
BuddyPress is a plugin for WordPress, extending it’s functionality for social networking. It also has hundreds of plugins of it’s own, enabling the author to create communities based on the WordPress platform.
reSabi club is a social networking project that I’ve created as part of my final exam at college. The goal of these designs is to create the simplest possible user interface, to counter the complicated social networking environment. reSabi club was built on WordPress and BuddyPress.
It is currently frozen and waiting for better times.
These interface designs came approximately at the same time with the visual identity redesign, which is why there’s a difference in colors and the logo.
reSabi TV is a project I started just for fun, with intention to gather my favorite YouTube playlists by genres and share them with my friends. It has about a dozen of channels, mostly musical. For this project I illustrated a TV with surrounding loudspeakers as the background for the playlists.
As part of the branding for this project, I’ve created an original 404 page.
